The 3c's to Successful Organic Marketing

You’re a marketer trying to become the next big “organic” success story on Facebook...

And you’re doing everything your “high ticket” program told you to.

Or, at least you think you are. Your posts are full of “value”...

And you’re “showing up” every day for your audience.

However, nobody’s buying.

Perhaps you made a sale or two early on, courtesy of your warmest leads.

Those who know, like and trust you the most and were itching to buy.

But now? Nothing.

That $1k in your first month has now become $1k in your first three months...

And you have no idea where your next sale is coming from.

You’ve no real game plan...

And are terrified of burning out. There’s a disconnect...

But you don’t know what it is. Fortunately, I do.

Your marketing content is missing the 3Cs. I’ve laid them out here for you...

So you can use them and encourage the leads and sales to start flowing again.

1. Curiosity

This is the big one.

It’s important to remember people are on social media primarily for entertainment.

They want an escape from the troubles or the mundanity of real life.

They want to increase their dopamine levels.

They want to feel things.

They want an adventure.

Even if it’s just for a few minutes.

The chances are, you’re not providing any of the above.

Your “value” post where you bang on about the importance of “getting a mentor” is the fifth one they’ve scrolled past in the newsfeed today...

And each variation always ends in the same predictable way:

“Choose me”. They won’t.

I’ll bet posts about your own struggles also have an equally unsatisfying payoff:

An offer to get involved with your high ticket program...

Backed up by a vague promise of personalised “help” and “support”.

Whatever that’s supposed to mean. Stop it.

Every struggling marketer who writes this junk isn’t making any money.

The broke leading the broke.

Instead, think about why you reached out to me for this, let’s face it...

Very basic (and zero cost) training.

Despite having already forked out thousands of dollars for supposed “cutting edge” tactics from a Bro Marketer who’s allegedly pulling in six figure months.

There could be a variety of reasons but I’ll bet...

My post got you curious.

You see, I offered you some very specific content.

That is, “The 3Cs”.

Which solves a very specific problem.

That is, fixing the disconnect between your marketing posts and your audience.

It got you questioning what the “3Cs” could be.

Got you wondering why my post, which reads similarly to “content” posts of your own (but better, obviously)...

Compelled you to reach out to me for the answer.

You may have seen other marketers comment on my post...

And you didn’t want to miss out.

This is the difference between a vague, wishy- washy offer and something specific with a clear, defined call to action.

Therefore:

If your content isn’t making your prospect’s head swim with the same cocktail of emotions as yours did reading my post...

And they don’t feel that burning desire, the way you did to discover what the 3Cs was all about...

Then they’ll skip right over it and contact the next person in the feed who gives them the tingles.

That would be me.

2. Credibility

Another big one.

Often overlooked.

Especially by newcomers to the industry.

Here’s the thing:

If you’re brand new...

You have zero credibility.

Harsh, but it needs to be said.

Just because you’ve just dropped a month’s wage on the latest-and-greatest high ticket program and you’re now armed with a referral link...

It doesn’t make you an expert at affiliate marketing.

It’s just a link.

Thousands of marketers with similar levels of (in)experience have them.

All promoting very similar products, programs and training...

Making very similar promises...
With very similar organic marketing content. Worse still...

They’re all trying to get noticed among arguably the same, relatively small, pool of potential customers.

Facebook isn’t the “blue ocean” you’ve been led to believe it is.

On the contrary... It’s blood red.

In a cut-throat industry where the Great Whites are circling...

Credibility is your protective shark cage. The best way to achieve this...

Is to actually demonstrate you can do what you claim.

You’re an affiliate promoting a program where you can earn $2,000 to $5,000 in a single sale?

Then you need to show you’re making those commissions yourself.

Not just talk about making them.

(You’re not just talking about making them, are you?)

Easier said than done I know... Especially if you’re brand new.

So, while you’re beavering away trying to make your first sale...

Here’s a credibility boosting tip:

The easiest way to position yourself above the crowd is to interview, on video, other successful people in your industry.

Most marketers won’t do this.

Either through fear of appearing on camera...

Or actually having to be the leader they pretend to be in their posts.

Consequently...

There’s an instant boost in both authority and credibility for anybody who does it.

Plus, you’ll be surprised at the calibre of people who will agree to spend some time with you, free of charge, just so they can talk about themselves.

An ego-driven industry now works in your favour.

Look at it this way:

That successful person deems you “worthy” enough to give their time for free...

While in the same breath they’re charging extortionate sums of money for an hour’s “consultancy” to those lower down the pecking order.

To your audience, you’re now credible by association.

You have positioned yourself as an authority... Rather than a peer.

3. Consistency

Obvious, I know.

Yet, so many affiliates do not give their marketing the time needed to become successful.

It’s possible you’ll get your shiny new referral link today...

Post up a bit of “value” tomorrow... And make a sale right off the bat.

But, for the vast majority who enter the industry...

That first commission can prove elusive.

The only way to overcome this...

Is to be consistent.

Consistent in the message your content delivers.

Consistent in the offers you put in front of your audience.

Consistent in how you follow-up with your leads.

Until enough time passes and you reach that tipping point where success comes your way.

Patience is not a strong point for wet-behind- the-ears marketers with dollar signs in their eyes...

Which is why the failure rate in this industry is so high.

That said, you also need to consider what you’re being consistent at...

And be wary of burnout.

I’ve seen so many affiliates disappear during the past three years I’ve been involved in organic marketing on Facebook.

They all follow exactly the same script: Post content like a bat out of hell.

Long-winded, largely irrelevant posts, under the mistaken guise of “value”.

They make no sales.
But instead of doing a bit of critical thinking...

And look at what’s being published, asking themselves why it doesn’t work...

They double down on the volume. Even longer posts...

Which cover an ever widening range of bizarre and unrelated subjects.

The best I’ve read (well, scrolled past while eye-rolling), was one about Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.

Me neither.
Digital reams of ineffective content produced...

In a vain attempt to “out value” the next person in a crowded newsfeed.

Only...

That next person isn’t making any money either.

No sane person can keep this up forever.

Hours spent each week writing content ignored by paying customers...

Yet rewarded with a multitude of “Happy Monday” comments from fellow algorithm blaggers, also waiting for their first commission.

Burnout is inevitable.

Whether it takes a few weeks, or a few months...

The outcome is always the same:

They make no sales..

Or not enough of them to justify the time invested.

They conclude organic marketing doesn’t work.

They stop posting.

They quit.

I don’t want this to happen to you.

So, I’d like the opportunity to discuss with you what is currently holding you back so far in your organic marketing journey.

Is it the content you’re producing?

Your credibility in the eyes of potential customers?

Or, are you having problems with your consistency?

Whatever it is, we can come up with a solution together.
