3 Reasons Why Affiliate Marketing" One Hit Wounders" Will Leave You Flat Broke

Introduction

You’ve seen them before.

Newbies.

Who appear out of nowhere.

Brand new to the affiliate marketing industry.

Yet, they’ve crushed out five figures.

In their first month.

While you’ve been slogging away a lot longer...

With no comparable results.

You wonder what they’ve got that you haven’t?

Why potential customers - your potential customers...

Have chosen to join them instead of you?

What are they doing that you’re not?

Your own curiosity has piqued.

You’re intrigued by their success.

You feel you “know” more than them...

Are more experienced...

And arguably put more “value” into the marketplace.

However, you’re unable to back up those thoughts with hard cash results.

You’re going to do it.

You’re going to join them in whatever program they’re pushing.

Hopefully they’ll reveal the “secret” to their success...

Which you can repeat.

STOP!

Reign in your emotions for a moment... And put your credit card away.

Spend a few minutes reading this report. You’ll thank me for it it later.

Here are three reasons why throwing money at an affiliate marketing “one-hit wonder” is the WORST thing you can do as an aspiring marketer...

And what you should do instead to see an upturn in your results.

1.Their Warm Market Is Now Tapped Out

This is something I want you to consider very carefully.

If you’re using social media to generate leads...

You have a warm market right now.

Your warm market is a small percentage of

your audience who love you the most. These are your “raving fans”.

The people who look to you for motivation, inspiration and answers to the burning questions which keep them up at night.

Even if you haven’t made any sales yet... Your warm market exists.

They’re waiting for you to create that curiosity post which gives them the opportunity to say “yes” to working with you.

They’re waiting for you to engage with them in the Messenger so they can pour their heart out and practically beg you to solve their problem.

They’re waiting for you make them that offer which helps them get closer to where they want to be... and earns you a commission in the process!

A “one hit wonder” affiliate has done all of the above...

And profited from the low-hanging fruit which is their warm market.

If they had five raving fans and earned a $2,000 commission from each of them...

That’s an easy $10,000 month. However, where do they go from here?

The remaining audience which hasn’t bought will need a lot more convincing...

As will any new leads who the affiliate tries to convert.

It’s a classic “difficult second single” scenario...

And repeating this success won’t be so simple when they have the same:

Branding... Content... Promises...

And program as a hundred other affiliates all fishing in the same pool for potential commissions.

2. They Have No Long- Term Results

A “one hit wonder” has no credentials...

Other than one stellar month which they haven’t been shy to tell you about.

But, so what?

There’s no long-term proof of success here.

No evidence they’re able to repeat these figures month after month after month.

All they’ve done is make a bunch of sales.

Once.

This is why seemingly “successful” marketers quit the industry and vanish.

Once their warm market has been tapped out...

Future sales dry up.

That $10,000 month can quickly become rebranded as “I made $10,000 in the last three months”...

And that $10,000 averaged over the past six becomes an even less impressive $1,500 per month or so.

One hit wonders are not marketing superheroes.

They’re not doing anything you can’t.

Ultimately, they just asked their warm market for the sale.

They obliged.

Nothing suggests they’re able to repeat this feat with any real consistency.

Some do, of course.

But the majority do not...

And are on target to become just another industry disappearing act.

3. They Have Never Seen Things Go “Wrong”... Yet!

A “one hit wonder” rides the crest of the affiliate marketing wave.

They post content which initially gets lapped up by their customers.

Closing sales in the Messenger is “easy”... And they believe they’re invincible.

Indeed, I’ve seen affiliates openly posting about “quitting their job” off the back one decent month’s commissions.

During the biggest period of financial uncertainty many of us have seen in our lifetime.

They’ve barely had chance to test whether or not those sales can be repeated...

And they’ve stuck two fingers up at their boss to compete against hundreds of identical affiliates.

This shows a lack of “real world” experience.

Not somebody to be trusted with a month’s hard-earned wage which is often the buy-in to whatever “high ticket” program they promote.

Because they’re so new...

They’re not aware things can change online.

Quickly.

What works swimmingly today...

Can be totally ineffective tomorrow.

Many years ago I was at the mercy of a Google algorithm change which downgraded a $2,000 per week business...

To one worth $200 per week overnight.

What if you’re relying on a social media platform...

Which decides to change the way you’re able to connect and communicate with other users?

Would you have the time, skill and creativity to move on somewhere new and become a success there...

With the added pressure of bills with hard deadlines which need to be met?

It’s a tough ask...

And even more difficult when you have almost zero online business experience to draw upon.

When things go wrong... And they will...

Will affiliate marketing’s flavour of the month have the ability to help you turn things around?

I think we both know the answer to that question.

The Alternative Solution:

After reading this, hopefully you can see...

An affiliate “one hit wonder” doesn’t have anything more at their disposal than you do.

You have a program.

You have an audience.

Therefore, you have a “warm market” and a source of potential sales.

So, convert them!

Then, take things from there once you have a group of customers to help and some genuine “proof of results” you can promote.

Good Luck
